Annual Sports Competition 2024

The Annual Sports Competition 2024, which lasted for two days, took place at the C & B Colony Playground on February 3 and 4, 2024. The event was inaugurated by Vice-Chancellor of NWU, Prof. Dr. Sheikh Md. Enayetul Babar, who raised the national flag and released a pair of pigeons and a handful of colored balloons on February 3 at 9:30 a.m. at the C & B Colony Playground. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of sports in fostering a sense of brotherhood among students and contributing to the nation's development. He encouraged students to participate in sports alongside their studies. The Proctor, Md. Asaduzzaman, who also served as the President of the Annual Sports 2024 Competition Committee, was present at the event, along with treasurer, deans, registrar, director, departmental heads, teachers, officers, students, and staff.

On the following day, February 4, at 4:30 p.m., the Hon'ble Chairman, Talukder Abdul Khaleque, awarded prizes to the competition winners as the Chief Guest, while Vice-Chancellor of NWU, Prof. Dr. Sheikh Md. Enayetul Babar, attended as the Presedent. The Proctor, Md. Asaduzzaman, who was also the President of the Annual Sports 2024 Competition Committee, was present as well. The event was attended by the treasurer, deans, registrar, director, departmental heads, teachers, officers, students, and staff. The colorful and diverse competitions of the Annual Sports Competition 2024 of NWU students were enjoyed by a large number of spectators.
